What the website processes
No information is submitted directly through this website. There is no contact form, newsletter, user account, comment area, analytics service, or cookie-based preference system.
Technical request information
This website is hosted by Netlify. When a page is requested, Netlify may process an IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, referring page, and time of access. The purpose is to deliver the website reliably and protect it from abuse. The legal basis is CommonScene's legitimate interest in operating a secure, functional website.
Netlify is the hosting provider and receives this information as needed to provide the service. CommonScene does not use these request details for analytics or advertising and does not maintain a separate visitor database. Netlify determines its operational and security retention periods. If you choose to send an email
The “Contact CommonScene” link opens your own email application. CommonScene receives nothing unless you decide to send a message. If you do, the sender address, message, and any attachments are used to read and answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to take steps you request before entering into an agreement.
The legal basis is CommonScene's legitimate interest in responding to ordinary enquiries, or taking steps at your request before a possible agreement. Your email provider and CommonScene's email provider process the message to deliver it. Information is kept only as long as needed for the conversation and any related administrative, legal, or record-keeping obligation.
Please do not include sensitive personal information that is not needed for the conversation.
Your choices and rights
You do not have to email CommonScene, but without your message CommonScene cannot answer your enquiry. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, or transfer, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email hello@commonscene.org to make a request. You may also submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
